Mystery Solved – November

This week, we had a correct guesser! Congratulations to Janelle Marr who correctly guessed that this house stands opposite the tennis courts/netball courts, just up from the Old School Hall on Berowra Waters Road.

The house is actually number 24 Berowra Waters Road and features in the first of our Self Guided Tour Brochures, The Berowra Waters Road Heritage Drive. Click on the image above for a look at and to print the tour brochure!

This, and more brochures will be available in the coming ‘Museum Of Berowra’, the virtual museum. Check back next Friday to learn more.

Nice work on the brochure Elissa. I note that you mentioned that the houses at 75 and 83 Berowra Waters Road were both guesthouses at one stage. I would be interested in hearing more of the history of both houses.

I often drive past the house at 75 BerowraWaters Road and think that is has some stories to tell.

    Regards,

    Scott

    • Hi Scott,

Thanks for the kind comments about the brochure. Indeed, both houses have stories to tell and they will feature in a later exhibition in our coming Virtual Museum. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available!
