This week, on October 31, Berowra Living History will be taking part in an exciting event celebrating the heritage of the Hornsby district, suitably titled ‘Hornsby Heritage’. The event, an afternoon ‘garden party’, will be held between 1pm and 5pm at the beautifully restored historic home, Wallarobba, which is now Hornsby’s Arts and Cultural Centre. We are assured that there will be plenty of food, exhibitions, entertainment and various local history groups to discover and explore. In addition, the Annual Hornsby Shire Council Heritage Awards will be presented during the afternoon. Berowra Living History was fortunate enough to be awarded the Owen Nannelli Memorial Award in 2013.
